   Tori is a runaway, newly-awakened witch who is running from- I mean for her life. Raised in a culture that despises any thing mystic and magic, Tori struggles to accept her new abilities all while avoiding the ever-present eye of Avon's special forces.

  As the grandmother and guardian of Tori, Florence has taught her everything she knows about nature, healing, and being true to oneself. But in order to protect her granddaughter from the harsh ruling of Avon's bureaucracy, Florence plays the public to assume her of being a useful, but eccentric, potions witch to draw attention from Tori.

A military leader with a mysterious past and motives who is leading the search for a runaway miscreant charged with witchcraft.
